Agreement and scope

These terms apply when you access this Smethe website, documentation preview, and interactive examples operated by TalkDoc, Inc. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you represent that you may accept these terms for that organization.

Submitting the public application does not create an account, start billing, or provision a subscription. After your organization accepts a written pilot scope, an authorized organization owner may receive an authenticated Stripe checkout or billing-portal flow. Paid service remains subject to the accepted pilot terms and any applicable order.

Preview status

Smethe is under development. Interfaces, commands, pricing, availability, retention, and features described as planned or preview may change before release. Do not rely on preview materials for production commitments, procurement specifications, or regulatory submissions.

Safety-critical limitation

Smethe is intended to support behavioral and functional software testing. It is not a certification authority, safety case, homologation tool, substitute for qualified engineering judgment, or replacement for physics-based simulation, HIL, proving-ground, and road validation. You are responsible for deciding whether a model and test are fit for a particular engineering question.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for lawful evaluation and communication. You may not:

• Interfere with, overload, scan, or attempt unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
• Submit malware, credentials, source code, regulated data, or content you lack the right to provide.
• Misrepresent affiliation, application details, or the results shown in a product example.
• Use the site to violate law or another person’s rights.

Intellectual property

TalkDoc and its licensors retain rights in this website, branding, preview documentation, and product materials. The planned public Smethe core will have its own repository and Apache-2.0 license when released; stating that intention here does not license unpublished source code. You retain ownership of information you submit and grant TalkDoc permission to use it to respond to your request and operate the preview.

Feedback

If you voluntarily provide product feedback, you allow TalkDoc to use it without restriction or compensation, while we remain responsible for handling any personal information under the privacy notice. Do not include confidential information in feedback unless a separate agreement covers it.

Third-party services and links

The site may rely on or link to third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. A link does not imply endorsement, and TalkDoc is not responsible for third-party content or availability.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the preview site and materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that a simulation result predicts real-world behavior. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TalkDoc will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunity arising from the preview site. TalkDoc’s aggregate liability arising from this free website will not exceed US $100. Limits that cannot legally apply remain excluded from this provision.
